Track Simulation (TrackSim)

Track Simulation's goal is to approximate, predict, and advise the car's behavior using high-level simulation models, Sim2Real techniques, and reinforced learning.

TrackSim primarily uses Python and NumPy. A background in basic math (Calculus 1-3 and Linear Algebra) is highly recommended. You can expect to learn about machine learning workflows, model environments, dynamics/physics/chemistry, and using innovative frameworks and libraries to create accurate models. TrackSim is unique among Solar in that we do not recruit primarily from ECE or ME majors. We are a high-level software team targeting CS, Math, Physics, SDS, and CE majors.

Long-term goals of TrackSim involve a head-up display on the car for real-time AI feedback on driving, a research paper, and pre-race race strategies.
