Operations

The operations team is the back end of the team in many respects. It’s comprised of three subsystems (treasury, corporate relations, and public relations) that handle the non-engineering aspects. With operations, members get to handle the finances of the team—working and partnering with clients to access new materials or systems for the design teams to use—as well as collaborating with UT to track internal finances & budgets. The operations team also handle the outward facing side of the organization, creating content of the car, members, & workdays—finding creative ways to express the vision and drive of some of the smartest students in the country. With operations, members get exposure to many different systems, giving an incredible opportunity to learn about the car and its requisite systems, meet and interact with the team’s unique partners, and take charge of shaping the way the organization is viewed by the outside world.
